Subtitle voiceover

Turn subtitles into a voiceover that stays in sync

Your SRT file already knows when every line starts and ends. VocaTTS reads each subtitle with the voice you pick and fits its speed to the slot, so the audio lines up with your video without manual editing.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Does the audio match my subtitle timing?

A: Yes. Each line is generated and its speed adjusted to fit the subtitle's time slot, within the minimum and maximum speaking rate you set. Set both to the same value for a fixed speed.

Q: Can different speakers have different voices?

A: Yes. Start lines with tags like [A] or [B], then assign a voice to each speaker. The tags are not read aloud.

Q: Can I use my cloned voice for subtitles?

A: Yes. Cloned and designed voices are listed under “My voices” in the voice picker.

Q: Which subtitle formats are supported?

A: SRT. You can also paste plain text and convert it to SRT blocks inside the tool.
